Calendar for Necessity

If you want to tell where someones priorities are, then look at their calendar. If I was to look a calendar of how you spend your time each day, what would it tell me about your priorities?

We find time for the things we consider to be the most important.

If your calendar has large blocks of time where you are working on hobbies or watching TV, but you still struggle to find time to get things done in your business, then the priorities are clear. TV is more important than building your business.

I am not saying anything bad about hobbies or watching TV. If it makes you happy, then that is great. But if you want to change your life, then you have to make the actions that will create that change your top priority.

Each of us only has 24 hours in a day. The difference between those who achieve their goals and those who do not is how they spend them.

If you know that building an online business will make a difference in your life, but sometimes struggle with finding the motivation to actually do the work, then there are a few things you can do.

In his recent book High Performance Habits, the author Brendon Burchard talks about what high performers do to create and keep their motivation.

One of the things he talks about is their ability to Raise the Necessity.

If you see achieving a particular as absolutely necessary, then you are more likely to be willing to do the work to achieve it. If it is just a "nice to have", then you probably won't ever get it.

How can you raise the necessity?

One way is to think about WHO you are doing it for.

Most people are much more motivated to take action for someone they care about. If you child or spouse absolutely needed you to do something, you would probably find a way.

So the question is ... who are you trying to build your online business for?

How would having a successful online business improve the lives of the people you love?

Imagine their lives, if you have more resources and freedom. Imagine being able to work from anywhere. Imagine being able to pay for your children's education without debt. Imagine taking your loved ones on the vacation they always wanted.

That is what you are doing the work for. More importantly, that is WHO you are doing the work for.

If you do this daily, then you will find yourself much more motivated to get focused and accomplish the result.

Please leave a comment if you found this helpful, or if you have any tips to share.

Break Things Down - The secret to getting Started.

Break Things Down

"𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘥. 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘦𝘤𝘳𝘦𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘨𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘪𝘴 𝘣𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘹, 𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘭𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘴 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘮𝘢𝘭𝘭, 𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘢𝘴𝘬𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘰𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘦." – Mark Twain

You've probably heard that before, but I think it bears repeating. It's the kind of thing that we tend to forget when we are feeling overwhelmed.

"𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘥𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘯 𝘦𝘭𝘦𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘵? 𝘖𝘯𝘦 𝘣𝘪𝘵𝘦 𝘢𝘵 𝘢 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦."

When you get overwhelmed by a task or project, remember to break it down into smaller, achievable steps.

This really helps to keep us from feeling swamped and allows us to accomplish them one at a time.

That's the key: focus on the steps one at a time.

Complete the 1st step. Success.

Complete the 2nd step. Success.

And so on. By doing that, you establish a pattern of success that helps to propel you forward to success in completing the larger goal.

3 steps for building positive habits

Learn habits that stick and are sustainable.

Setting goals doesn't always work you must learn to establish habits that will lead you toward success.

1. Start small - a tiny habit is easier to stick to.

Do you resolve to exercise more often? Start with just 10 pushups a day or a short jog around the neighborhood — something so quick that there’s no excuse not to do it. Once a habit begins to feel natural, increase the amount of time or effort you spend.

2. Fit new habits together with existing habits

Choose a habit that’s already second nature, then schedule your new habit immediately after. Think about your own days: what existing habits can be extended or transformed?

If you’ve resolved to read more, place a book next to your cup of morning coffee. If you intend to brush up on a new language, stick vocabulary cards into your gym bag and take advantage of that post-workout jolt of energy. Existing habits can be a seamless gateway to new activities.

3. Practice makes perfect

You’ll probably need a few nudges before your habit truly becomes second nature. Create checkpoints to help you stay on track: enlist a friend to keep you honest, set alarms throughout the day, or mark your successes on a calendar.

The more regularly you practice your new activity, the more quickly it’ll become a part of your life.

Make each moment count.

It is not the quantity in your life that matters, but the quality that you experience during each moment.

We live in an age of quantity. The media shapes us with the idea that larger and faster means better. We are told that we need to find more time, own more possessions, and have more love to be truly happy, however, a smaller quantity of anything that is high in quality will almost always be more satisfying. A single piece of our favorite chocolate or a thin spread of freshly made preserves can satisfy us more than a full bucket of a product that we aren’t very fond of.  It is not the quantity of time that matters, but the quality that you experience during each moment. Every minute is an opportunity to love yourself and others, develop confidence and self-respect, and exhibit courage.

Ultimately, quality can make life sweeter. When you focus on quality, all your life experiences can be meaningful. A modest portion of good, healthy food can nourish and satisfy you on multiple levels. Likewise, a few hours of deep, restful slumber will leave you feeling more refreshed than a night’s worth of frequently interrupted sleep. A few minutes spent with a loved one catching up on the important details about family, work, or community can carry more meaning than two hours spent watching television together.

Often, in the pursuit of quantity we cheat ourselves of quality. Then again, quantity also plays a significant role in our lives. Certain elements, such as hugs, kisses, abundance, and love, are best had in copious amounts that are high in quality. But faced with the choice between a single, heartfelt grin and a lifetime of empty smiles, most would, no doubt, choose the former.

Ultimately, it is not how much you live or have or do but what you make of each moment that counts.

3 Secrets To Manifesting ANYTHING You Desire!

Here are 3 Secrets to manifestation that can transform your life today...

Secret 1: Thinking Faster Increases Manifestation
The universe operates quickly and efficiently. By making your own thoughts quick and efficient, you tap into the primordial creative power of the universe. The quicker you can think, the quicker you can manifest. This is the law.
Here's a key lesson to remember:
Slow thinkers = slow manifesters
 Fast thinkers = fast manifesters
Secret 2: You Must Stop Your Thinking To Manifest
Controlled absence of thinking is what creates manifestation. This means you need to create a state of Silence inside of your mind and maintain this as much as you can.
What you must understand is that your own thoughts are the barrier to manifestation. When the thoughts are controlled, the barriers are released and all of the creative energies of manifestation can increase without limit.
To control your thoughts is about understanding the whole operation of your mind and knowing what to do to increase your thought power.
Secret 3: You Must Surround Yourself With The People Who Have What You Want
A great secret is that the people you surround yourself with has the biggest influence over your life. If you want to change what happens in your life, you need to change the people you associate with.
Positive, happy and successful people are the biggest tools you have for manifestation. No exception! Get around these people as much as you can and watch your manifestations sky rocket.
Look at your life right now and ask yourself this serious question: Who is the most successful person in your life right now? How often do you associate with them? Could you do with associating with better people to change your manifestation level?
I hope this text has blessed you in better understanding some of the key secrets to manifestation.

Limits and fears are just an illusion.

This video has to be one of the most greatest motivational videos I have ever seen.  The key point is if you want to become any thing in life, you can't be blaming other people for your problems, be inspired.

(transcript of the video posted below).

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.

It's a very mean and nasty place,

and I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there if you let it.

You, me or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.

But it ain't about how hard you hit.

It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.

How much you can take and keep moving forward.

That's how winning is done!

Pain is temporary.

It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or even a year,

but eventually it will subside

and something else will take its place.

If I quit, however, it lasts forever.

The margin for error is so small...

one-half a step too late or early, and you don't quite make it.

One half-second too slow, too fast, you don't quite catch it.

The inches we need are everywhere around us.

They're in every break of the game, every minute, every second.

You got a dream, you gotta protect it.

People can't do something themselves they wanna tell you you can't do it.

If you want something, go get it. Period.

Don't be afraid to fail.

You can’t always win, but don’t afraid of making decisions.

You have to believe that something different can happen.

He who says he can

And he who says he can’t are both usually right

Most of you said that you want to be successful, but you don’t want it bad.

You just kinda want it.

You don’t want it bad than you want to party.

You don’t want it as much as you want to be cool.

Most of you don’t want success as much as you want to sleep!

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.

You have to dig deep down, dig deep down and ask yourselves,

Who do you want to be?

Figuring out for yourselves what makes you happy,

no matter how crazy it may sound to other people.

Make a choice.

Just decide,

what it’s gonna be, who you’re gonna be, how you are going to do it.

Just decide.

Why not?

Why can't I be MVP of the league?

Why can't I be the best player in the league?

I don’t see why. Why, why can't I do that?

What is it you said to the kid?

It ain't about how hard you hit.

It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward.

Get up.

Get up.

Get up and don't ever give up.

And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us...

or

we can fight our way back into the light.

We can climb out of hell...

...one inch at a time.

To be able at any moment

Sacrifice what you are for what you will become.

Most of you won't be successful because when you're studying, and you get tired, you quit.

‘I’m not good in math.’ That’s right, because you never study!

‘I’m no good in rhyme.’ Because you never write before!

Talent you have naturally.

Skill is only developed by hours and hours and hours of beating on your craft.

If you are not making someone else’s life better,

you’re wasting your time.

Don't cry to quit, cry to keep going.

Don’t cry to quits.

You already in pain, you already hurt. Get a reward from it.

If you know what you're worth, go and get what you're worth!

But you gotta be willing to take the hits,

and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him or her or anybody!

Cowards do that, and that ain't you!

You're better than that!

Every day is a new day.

Every moment is a new moment.

Now you've got to go out and show them that you're a new creature.

Now!

I'ma show you how great I am!

In the seventeenth chapter of St. Luke, it’s written “the kingdom of God is within man”,

not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you!

You, the people, have the power,

the power to create machines,

the power to create happiness

You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful,

to make this life a wonderful adventure.

Now!

What are you gonna do?

Because limits like fears are often just an illusion.

Stress relief - focus on the now

Focus on the Now

 ______________________A Stress relief tip________________________

Thinking about the next ten items on your list of things to do is enough to cause anyone stress. That's why it's vital that you focus on only one thing at a time.

Allowing only one task into your thoughts at a time - the one thing you are involved with right now - will improve your productivity, decrease mental mistakes, and relieve your mind of feeling overwhelmed as well as your body of feeling physically stressed out and drained.

Try the music below while you are working to improve your focus.

A Beneficial Thought: Making It Happen

What exactly is the difference between wishing for something and actually making it happen?

The answer is simple: belief.

When you believe that something is possible, you’ll take action to make it happen. You’ll push forward through obstacles because you know you can…

And that means that anything you believe can happen, CAN HAPPEN.

The secret, is to tear away the limiting barriers your mind puts up against the things that you truly want.

Then, with all your heart you must add strong belief to the mix. The same way you believe the sun will rise tomorrow, you must believe in the things that you truly want.

That's the first, and most crucial step in all great manifestation.

So, my question to you is…. What do you truly believe?

Take Action

In order to make our dreams come true, we must take action rather than simply wishing for what we want.

There is a popular misconception that we might be able to just wish our dreams into being. Maybe on some other level of consciousness this is the case, but we need to take action in our lives. When we focus on what we want and ask for what we want, we are initiating a conversation with the universe. Our desires, passionately defined and expressed, bring about valuable and relevant opportunities, which we then respond to by either taking or leaving them.

Many of us are afraid to step out into the world and make things happen, and so we hang back, dreaming and waiting and watching. There are times in life when this is the right thing to do, but this phase of inaction must eventually give way to its opposite if we are to build our dreams into a reality. This can be really scary, and we may fail and struggle, but that’s okay because that’s what we’re supposed to do. Waiting for everything to be perfect before we act, or waiting for what we want to be handed to us, leaves us waiting forever. No one expects us to be perfect, so the best thing we can do for ourselves is to get out there and take action on our dreams.

Our actions shape our lives, but what we don't take action on can be just as powerful.

Life is sculpted on a moment-to-moment basis. Every one of the thoughts we think, the words we speak, and the actions we take contributes to the complex quality and character of the universe’s unfolding. It simply is not possible to be alive without making an impact on the world that surrounds us. Every action taken affects the whole as greatly as every action not taken. And when it comes to making the world a better place, what we choose not to do can be just as important as what we choose to do.

For example, when we neglect to recycle, speak up, vote, or help somebody in immediate need, we are denying ourselves the opportunity to be an agent for positive change. Instead, we are enabling a particular course to continue unchallenged, picking up speed even as it goes along. By holding the belief that our actions don’t make much of a difference, we may find that we often tend to forego opportunities for involvement. Alternatively, if we see ourselves as important participants in an ever-evolving world, we may feel more inspired to contribute our unique perspective and gifts to a situation.

it is important that we honor our impulse to help and take the action that feels right for us. It may be offering a kind word to a friend, giving resources to people in need, or just taking responsibility for our own behavior. By doing what we can, when we can, we add positive energy to our world. And sometimes, it may be our one contribution that makes all the difference.
