Abundant thinking

Abundant thinking requires that you appreciate what you have in life, rather than bemoaning the things you lack.

It further asks that you focus on what is possible, and that you reach for what you want in life. If this latter point sounds like something you are already doing and it is not producing the goods, it is because you have not established the former mindset – the one that makes you always appreciative.

The opposite is scarcity thinking, which focuses on what you don’t have, what you want more of, what you might lose, and what has gone wrong in your life.

People who think abundant thoughts are happier than those who don’t. It stands to reason. Abundant thinking is positive thinking. That does not mean they are unaware of the areas where their lives might need improvement, they are simply able to approach those areas with a positive frame of mind, confident that they will have no difficulty bringing about the necessary changes. This is because they choose to believe that there is an abundance of whatever they need just waiting for them.

Our thoughts dictate our lives. Our thoughts can attract good things into our lives, or repel them. This is another Universal Law – the Law of Attraction. One of the common sayings in positive thinking methodology is: “Whatever the mind of man can conceive of, and believe in, it can achieve.”

Stay Positive in the knowledge that everything is for a purpose, and you are perfect just the way you are.

“What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lives within us.”

- Henry David Thoreau

Thoughts or emotions are useless without belief.

Why did I say this?
Because you can 'think' success all day long, day after day after day,
for YEARS and not become a success.

If you expect to fail, no amount of success thinking will fix it, beliefs trump thoughts.

You can 'feel' as happy and as loving as you want, but if you don't believe you'll actually have a fulfilling and satisfying life, you won't. Clearly, beliefs are more powerful than emotions.
So why do so many Law of Attraction teachers focus on thoughts and/or emotions?

Because when you BELIEVE these things and have a strong emotion towards your goal it will make a huge positive difference.

The reason most people don’t get what they want is they don’t know WHY they want it.
 – Jim Rohn.

Everyone’s motivation is going to be different no matter what the goal, but whatever that WHY is, it’s got to be powerful if you are going to be successful.  It’s got to be emotional.  When you have a big enough reason, the steps you need to take to achieve your goal, becomes clear and taking those actions is easy.

More importantly, your WHY has to be stronger than those WRONG beliefs you carry around in your head.  Things like, “Rich people are greedy” or “Money is the root of all evil” or “I don’t deserve to have what I want.”  You may think you want a lot of money or a wonderful relationship, but with beliefs like these it’s not very likely.

If your belief in affirmations isn't strong, then saying millions of them won't do anything for you either.  Belief the right way is the core ingredient that makes all other attraction techniques or methods work.

No matter how you visualize, say your affirmations or prayers, or apply the law of
attraction... all these will NOT work if you don't BELIEVE. Ask to Believe!

Manifestation Is About Alignment...

There is so much literature around lately about abundance manifestation and positive thinking.  But 95% of people fail to achieve their goals because they are not in alignment.

Let’s clarify what "alignment" really means because a lot of people use this term without really explaining it properly.

Alignment Occurs On Two Levels:

1. Alignment with the Laws of Quantum Physics

In short, in the world of Quantum Physics - thoughts (positive or negative) attract their equivalent or vibrational match. Think good thoughts attract good things. Think bad, negative or needy thoughts and you’ll attract bad, negativity and need.

This is Law of Attraction 101, and is expanded by stating whatever you focus on with intensity and emotion will set the Universe in motion to bring that into your life.

2. Conscious and Subconscious Alignment

Your Conscious desires and your Subconscious intention must be in alignment.

If your Conscious Mind wants one thing and your Subconscious Mind wants something else (counter-intention) it is impossible to create what you truly want.

Doesn’t this idea of alignment explain a lot of the ups and owns in your life?

You must choose a teacher that can separate scientific fact from scientific opinion. You need someone, like Dr. Robert Anthony, who gets excited about combing through page after page of scientific studies and journals for any little insight that others might miss.

Take Action

In order to make our dreams come true, we must take action rather than simply wishing for what we want.

There is a popular misconception that we might be able to just wish our dreams into being. Maybe on some other level of consciousness this is the case, but we need to take action in our lives. When we focus on what we want and ask for what we want, we are initiating a conversation with the universe. Our desires, passionately defined and expressed, bring about valuable and relevant opportunities, which we then respond to by either taking or leaving them.

Many of us are afraid to step out into the world and make things happen, and so we hang back, dreaming and waiting and watching. There are times in life when this is the right thing to do, but this phase of inaction must eventually give way to its opposite if we are to build our dreams into a reality. This can be really scary, and we may fail and struggle, but that’s okay because that’s what we’re supposed to do. Waiting for everything to be perfect before we act, or waiting for what we want to be handed to us, leaves us waiting forever. No one expects us to be perfect, so the best thing we can do for ourselves is to get out there and take action on our dreams.

Our actions shape our lives, but what we don't take action on can be just as powerful.

Life is sculpted on a moment-to-moment basis. Every one of the thoughts we think, the words we speak, and the actions we take contributes to the complex quality and character of the universe’s unfolding. It simply is not possible to be alive without making an impact on the world that surrounds us. Every action taken affects the whole as greatly as every action not taken. And when it comes to making the world a better place, what we choose not to do can be just as important as what we choose to do.

For example, when we neglect to recycle, speak up, vote, or help somebody in immediate need, we are denying ourselves the opportunity to be an agent for positive change. Instead, we are enabling a particular course to continue unchallenged, picking up speed even as it goes along. By holding the belief that our actions don’t make much of a difference, we may find that we often tend to forego opportunities for involvement. Alternatively, if we see ourselves as important participants in an ever-evolving world, we may feel more inspired to contribute our unique perspective and gifts to a situation.

it is important that we honor our impulse to help and take the action that feels right for us. It may be offering a kind word to a friend, giving resources to people in need, or just taking responsibility for our own behavior. By doing what we can, when we can, we add positive energy to our world. And sometimes, it may be our one contribution that makes all the difference.
