I believe Everybody has a Higher Self!

It used to be that conversing with our Higher Self was an inborn capacity. After some time, we lost that valuable blessing.

Current life has realized numerous awesome changes. We have started to depend on specialists and experts to mention to us what's wrong with us, when before, we could talk legitimately to our bodies.

We seek specialists for answers for everything. The outcome is our Higher Self, our Intuition, has taken a secondary lounge.

On the off chance that that isn't terrible enough, since we aren't associating with our Higher Selves, our sense of self is allowed to cause turmoil.

Take a gander at the present reality, and you will see individuals harming individuals, harming the planet, and harming themselves. What you are seeing is EGO.

Inner self is the insane voice mentioning to you what to be distraught about and what to fear. It is the wellspring of uneasiness and the explanation you think about things literally. It wants to replay your alleged disappointments to keep you stuck in a circle of over-figuring, which may appear to be difficult to escape.

The uplifting news is you can move beyond the conscience and carry on with your life from a Higher Self viewpoint!

Clearing the Ego and associating with your Higher Self isn't hard. Indeed, you can do it like a flash. To state it is groundbreaking sounds antique, however it is TRUE!

At the point when you have this association, limitless information opens up when we interface with the Universe through our Higher Selves.

You can get to this information to help with wellbeing, connections, showing, You name it, there are no restrictions!

Make each moment count.

It is not the quantity in your life that matters, but the quality that you experience during each moment.

We live in an age of quantity. The media shapes us with the idea that larger and faster means better. We are told that we need to find more time, own more possessions, and have more love to be truly happy, however, a smaller quantity of anything that is high in quality will almost always be more satisfying. A single piece of our favorite chocolate or a thin spread of freshly made preserves can satisfy us more than a full bucket of a product that we aren’t very fond of.  It is not the quantity of time that matters, but the quality that you experience during each moment. Every minute is an opportunity to love yourself and others, develop confidence and self-respect, and exhibit courage.

Ultimately, quality can make life sweeter. When you focus on quality, all your life experiences can be meaningful. A modest portion of good, healthy food can nourish and satisfy you on multiple levels. Likewise, a few hours of deep, restful slumber will leave you feeling more refreshed than a night’s worth of frequently interrupted sleep. A few minutes spent with a loved one catching up on the important details about family, work, or community can carry more meaning than two hours spent watching television together.

Often, in the pursuit of quantity we cheat ourselves of quality. Then again, quantity also plays a significant role in our lives. Certain elements, such as hugs, kisses, abundance, and love, are best had in copious amounts that are high in quality. But faced with the choice between a single, heartfelt grin and a lifetime of empty smiles, most would, no doubt, choose the former.

Ultimately, it is not how much you live or have or do but what you make of each moment that counts.

Become Happier In Life

Many people feel that
things like money, a better job, better relationships..etc
will make them happy.

In reality, to find true contentment
you must look inside yourself and learn to be your own best
friend. That means you have to trust, love, and care for
yourself just as you do the people you consider to be close
to you.

Following are steps that you can incorporate into your life
that will help you to feel more empowered and happy about
yourself!

Begin to lift yourself up, not put yourself down. If you
don't like something about yourself, work to change it. If
you can't change it, simply accept it. Don't beat up on
yourself with negative self-talk. You're not likely to
change for the better when you fill yourself with negative
thoughts.

Give yourself positive rewards. When you do something that
you are proud of give yourself a small reward. Try not to
wait for others to praise you because you may grow resentful
if the praise doesn't come. Pat your own back, it is a great
feeling that can stay with you for a long time.

Forgive yourself. I doubt that you would keep scolding a
child over and over for making a mistake so don't do that to
yourself. Give yourself the gift of forgiveness when you
make a mistake. After that, work to figure out what lesson
you can learn, and use it to make better choices the next
time around.

Enjoy your successes. Most people can remember all of the
details of depressing, painful or even embarrassing events
that happened many years ago. What if you did the same thing
with all of your wins? Try to remember all of the triumphs
and accomplishments that you've made and keep that memory
with you and think about it at least once a week.

Always remember to celebrate your wonderful qualities! You
will soon discover that the more you love yourself, the more
you will be able to give love to others - and the more
others will be able to love you!

R U OK Day - 12 september

R U OK? Day 2013 – 12 September 2013

Ask one question & save a life - what a great Idea....

Just three little words could save someone's life and no they aren't 'I love you'. Although that would be great also but I am actually talking about asking someone, 'Are you ok'? Or in this case, R U Ok? Seems simple doesn't it, however, we get so caught up in our own lives that it's easy to forget to ask.

-------------------------------------------------

Below are some simple steps to start a conversation - this is something I believe we should try to do EVERYDAY - but R U OK day is a great start :-)

This is taken from the R U Ok Day? Website:

1. Ask R U OK?

Start a general conversation; preferably somewhere private.
Break the ice with a joke.
Build trust through good eye contact, open and relaxed body language.
Ask open–ended questions.
'What's been happening? How are you going?'
'I've noticed that... What's going on for you at the moment?'
'You don't seem like yourself and I'm wondering are you ok? Is there anything that's contributing?'

2. Listen without judgement

Guide the conversation with caring questions and give them time to reply.
Don't rush to solve problems for them.
Help them understand that solutions are available when they're ready to start exploring these.
'How has that made you feel?'
'How long have you felt this way?'
'What do you think caused this reaction?'

3. Encourage action

Summarise the issues and ask them what they plan to do
Encourage them to take one step, such as see their doctor
'Would you like me to make an appointment or come with you?'

4. Follow up

Put a note in your diary to call them in one week. If they're desperate, follow up sooner.
Ask if they've managed to take that first step and see someone
If they didn't find this experience helpful, urge them to try a different professional because there's someone out there who can help them.
'How are things going? Did you speak with your doctor?'
'What did they suggest? What did you think of their advice?'
'You've had a busy time. Would you like me to make the appointment?'

Meaningful conversations and a sense of connection are what make us feel valued and supported. The R U OK? Foundation hopes to empower and encourage people to make a difference to the significant and devastating issue of suicide in Australia. On Thursday, 12th September ask the question and help make every conversation count.

Laughter is like a Hurricane

Laughter... is like a hurricane: once it reaches a certain point, it becomes self-feeding, self-supporting. You laugh not because the jokes are funny but because your own condition is funny.

Stephen King

A note from Cynthia...

Laughter. It's a smile, gone supernova.

Some say that humans are the only species on the planet that laugh. Whether that's strictly true, I'm not sure (have you ever seen a bonobo being tickled?), but laughter is certainly a core piece of what makes us human.

It's kind of a hard thing to define, isn't it? And I think-no, strike that. I feel like it's also part of our divine nature, too. Not just everyday "ha-ha" good humor, but also the kind of laughter King is talking about in the quote today. The kind Robert Frost is talking about with his quote "If we couldn't laugh we would all go insane." That kind of laughter seems to come from a place beyond the ego, and it somehow allows us to let go of struggle and really laugh at ourselves.

Do you remember your last stomach-clenching-tear-jerking-snot-producing laugh?

With hugs, smiles, and lots of laughter too,

Cynthia

Limits and fears are just an illusion.

This video has to be one of the most greatest motivational videos I have ever seen.  The key point is if you want to become any thing in life, you can't be blaming other people for your problems, be inspired.

(transcript of the video posted below).

Let me tell you something you already know. The world ain't all sunshine and rainbows.

It's a very mean and nasty place,

and I don't care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees and keep you there if you let it.

You, me or nobody is gonna hit as hard as life.

But it ain't about how hard you hit.

It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward.

How much you can take and keep moving forward.

That's how winning is done!

Pain is temporary.

It may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or even a year,

but eventually it will subside

and something else will take its place.

If I quit, however, it lasts forever.

The margin for error is so small...

one-half a step too late or early, and you don't quite make it.

One half-second too slow, too fast, you don't quite catch it.

The inches we need are everywhere around us.

They're in every break of the game, every minute, every second.

You got a dream, you gotta protect it.

People can't do something themselves they wanna tell you you can't do it.

If you want something, go get it. Period.

Don't be afraid to fail.

You can’t always win, but don’t afraid of making decisions.

You have to believe that something different can happen.

He who says he can

And he who says he can’t are both usually right

Most of you said that you want to be successful, but you don’t want it bad.

You just kinda want it.

You don’t want it bad than you want to party.

You don’t want it as much as you want to be cool.

Most of you don’t want success as much as you want to sleep!

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.

Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.

It is our light not our darkness that most frightens us.

You have to dig deep down, dig deep down and ask yourselves,

Who do you want to be?

Figuring out for yourselves what makes you happy,

no matter how crazy it may sound to other people.

Make a choice.

Just decide,

what it’s gonna be, who you’re gonna be, how you are going to do it.

Just decide.

Why not?

Why can't I be MVP of the league?

Why can't I be the best player in the league?

I don’t see why. Why, why can't I do that?

What is it you said to the kid?

It ain't about how hard you hit.

It's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward. How much you can take and keep moving forward.

Get up.

Get up.

Get up and don't ever give up.

And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us...

or

we can fight our way back into the light.

We can climb out of hell...

...one inch at a time.

To be able at any moment

Sacrifice what you are for what you will become.

Most of you won't be successful because when you're studying, and you get tired, you quit.

‘I’m not good in math.’ That’s right, because you never study!

‘I’m no good in rhyme.’ Because you never write before!

Talent you have naturally.

Skill is only developed by hours and hours and hours of beating on your craft.

If you are not making someone else’s life better,

you’re wasting your time.

Don't cry to quit, cry to keep going.

Don’t cry to quits.

You already in pain, you already hurt. Get a reward from it.

If you know what you're worth, go and get what you're worth!

But you gotta be willing to take the hits,

and not pointing fingers saying you ain't where you wanna be because of him or her or anybody!

Cowards do that, and that ain't you!

You're better than that!

Every day is a new day.

Every moment is a new moment.

Now you've got to go out and show them that you're a new creature.

Now!

I'ma show you how great I am!

In the seventeenth chapter of St. Luke, it’s written “the kingdom of God is within man”,

not one man nor a group of men, but in all men! In you!

You, the people, have the power,

the power to create machines,

the power to create happiness

You, the people, have the power to make this life free and beautiful,

to make this life a wonderful adventure.

Now!

What are you gonna do?

Because limits like fears are often just an illusion.

Abundant thinking

Abundant thinking requires that you appreciate what you have in life, rather than bemoaning the things you lack.

It further asks that you focus on what is possible, and that you reach for what you want in life. If this latter point sounds like something you are already doing and it is not producing the goods, it is because you have not established the former mindset – the one that makes you always appreciative.

The opposite is scarcity thinking, which focuses on what you don’t have, what you want more of, what you might lose, and what has gone wrong in your life.

People who think abundant thoughts are happier than those who don’t. It stands to reason. Abundant thinking is positive thinking. That does not mean they are unaware of the areas where their lives might need improvement, they are simply able to approach those areas with a positive frame of mind, confident that they will have no difficulty bringing about the necessary changes. This is because they choose to believe that there is an abundance of whatever they need just waiting for them.

Our thoughts dictate our lives. Our thoughts can attract good things into our lives, or repel them. This is another Universal Law – the Law of Attraction. One of the common sayings in positive thinking methodology is: “Whatever the mind of man can conceive of, and believe in, it can achieve.”

Stay Positive in the knowledge that everything is for a purpose, and you are perfect just the way you are.

“What lies behind us and what lies ahead of us are tiny matters compared to what lives within us.”

E - Enjoy. Motivation takes place when people are happy.

F - Family and Friends -- Don't loose sight of them.

G - Give more than what is enough.

H - Hang on to your dreams. They may sway for a second, but these will be your driving force.

I - Ignore those who try to destroy you. Don't let other people get the best of you.

J - Just be you. The key to failure is to try to please everyone.

K - Keep trying no matter how hard life may seem.

L - Learn to love your self.

M - Make things happen. Motivation is when your dreams are put into work clothes.

N - Never lie, cheat or steal. Always play a fair game.

Y - You are unique. Value your life and existence.

Z - Zero in on your dreams and go for it!!!

A happy Life

A recent post from Tara that I thought was inspirational, enjoy.

We’re all searching for happiness. And one of the best ways of attaining it is to let other people’s happiness make you happy, instead of envious.

Depending on the positive or negative tone of your thoughts, words and deeds, you create vibrations of the same kind, i.e. positive or negative.

Letting other people’s happiness make you happy generates positive vibrations, both for yourself and for others.

Letting other people’s happiness make you happy does everyone good, you included.

And the opposite is also true. Not rejoicing in others’ misfortune also generates favorable, positive energy that helps you attain your goals more quickly, and have the life you dream of.

Emitting positive thoughts when you think of someone else, even for no specific reason, is also very beneficial. The more positive thoughts you’re able to generate, the more positive energy you’ll receive in return.

And it’s the accumulation of all these good vibrations that helps realize your potential in all areas of your life: Luck, money, health, love-life, work, etc.

In short, generating positive energy makes achieving all your goals a lot easier. Do that, and your life is sure to improve.
