New years resemble restart buttons. You want to push the button and begin things all once more however then understand your life is too destroyed to be restarted new!

Sorry for all the irritating stuff I did last year. May you allow me to do that again in the New Year?

Another year doesn't come to transform you. It comes to advise you that one more year has gone you're as yet the equivalent pointless imbecile who figures he can make his goals work out as expected!

Alright, so you're altogether grown up now, with a major extravagant activity, your own loft, and a rec center enrollment or whatever, I get it… and I'm certain your folks get it, as well. In any case, it's the special season, let free a bit. Nobody's going to pass judgment on you for making the inclining tower of pies out of the scraps. Moreover, how regularly do you get the opportunity to wear footie nightgowns and tear open your presents like the non domesticated 10-year-old you used to be?

Beginner Meditation Techniques




Understand that meditation is not something that will happen overnight or something that will be automatic from the start. It takes time and it takes practice.

Start to focus on your breathing throughout the day. When you are hurried and rushed, do you notice that your breath is shorter and more labored? If so, begin by focusing on each breath, taking deep breaths in through the nostrils and releasing through the mouth. You should also notice the rise and fall of your stomach as you focus on your breathing.

Be intentional about your meditation. Meditation is a practice and a learned skill. It needs to be practiced intentionally in order for it to work. It does not just happen to you.

Dress appropriately for meditation. If you are trying to sneak in ten minutes of meditation in your lunch hour, dressed in your business skirt and heels, chances are you will be rushed. Set aside a time that is appropriate where you can wear loose fitting clothing and where you can concentrate.



Begin with the practice of releasing tension in all your body parts. Focus on the feet first and release tension in that area; move up to your ankles, etc. Do this until you have reached the top of your head.

Practice your breathing techniques together with the release of tension in your body parts. At first, this will seem difficult; however, it will become easier as time goes on.

Stretching your muscles a bit before sitting to meditate is a great way to get blood circulating and get in the moment.
Choose a focal point, if you wish. For some, meditation is only done with their eyes closed, while others need a focal point. Yours could be a picture on the wall of a serene setting.


Be consistent with your mediation practices. Do not let circumstances take over control of your mediation practice. Before you know it, you will become a pro - just stay consistent.

Spiritual Awareness is Key


Here are 3 tips to increase your spiritual awareness:



1) Communicate with your inner self.
Your soul is an energy entity that holds part of your awareness and memories. Its energy is what animates your body. Therefore your soul is your true identity. Probably the best method to communicate with your soul is through meditation and breathing exercises.




2) Sleep well.
Create a schedule that makes it possible for you to get at least 6 to 8 hours of sleep every night. Once you have created this schedule, try to stick to it.




3) Stay positive and laugh often.
Laughter is an important part of a healthy mind and body. When you laugh, you secrete a chemical that automatically boosts your mood and improves your physical health.

Listen to your heart and soul




Have you listened deeply to the voice of your own soul? What is your heart really telling you? When you set an intention for the life you would love to live, when you write that vision for what's calling you for more, it's neither logic nor reasoning that holds the passion of your dream.

We live in a vast Universe. There is no dream that is greater than your soul's calling. There is no task that the Universe cannot handle. The Universe wants to expand and express itself by means of you.


The only limitation is in our thinking. Put the logic and reasoning aside, at least long enough to listen to your heart and soul. Let them speak to you, and listen. How does it feel to you? Is it expansive or contractive? Are you filled with passion? Listen and connect deeply within,  Let go of resistance and allow your heart to speak. Let it feed your passion daily.

Your greatest health tip ever - smiling and laughter,


When we smile 😎, our brain releases endorphins into our body that raise our immune function, increase our vitality, reduce pain, and even have an effect on our creativity.
Some studies have found that our body doesn't know the difference between a real smile and a fake smile. Immune response is still elevated. What value can you find in that? How about smiling for no reason?
Now, if our smile is connected with authentic emotion, there will be an increase in endorphin release and the body's response will be greater. 
 Try it - hold a big fake smile for 3 seconds and see how that changes how you feel.


My challenge to you TODAY: Do this EXPERIMENT:

What Are You Focused On? - 3 steps to Focus.


Keeping our attention on what matters most to us can be tough with all the distractions of modern life, one of them the screens that now surround us, some of them constantly in our hands!
Whatever the size screen, be it our phones, TV's in our living rooms, desktop computers, in taxicabs and elevators, waiting rooms, stores, gas pumps, all of them teach our brain to rapidly switch from one task to another to another.
Senior professor of neuroscience at Texas A&M University and author of Teach Your Kids How to Learn, says this habit of switching from one screen to another conflicts with focused attentiveness. In one study, people in a room with a TV and a computer switched their eyes back and forth every 14 seconds—120 times in 27.5 minutes.
As distraction becomes the norm, we start to crave it when it doesn't exist, which is why so many people check their phone screens even as they walk down the street. In one experiment, 94% of Chicago pedestrians using cellphones didn't see cash hanging from a tree! Just the presence of smartphones—even when they are not being actively used—can affect our cognitive performance.

We need to keep focus on the following 3 step pattern.
Intention—Attention—No Tension
Intention is a conscious statement of what we want to show up in our lives and Attention is our focus on that intention, taking action that keeps that focus and then letting go of results or expectations that it's supposed to show up a certain way. That's the No Tension piece.

Are you willing to give up your story of struggle?



When talking about being the creators of our life, we talk about our "stories"

Stories are a sequence of thoughts that we convince ourselves are real. A story may be about the past, the present or the future. It may be about things we should do, what can be, what they could do, or what they are.










Stories are untested, non-investigated theories that tell us what things mean. The problem is we don't seem to realize most of our stories are just assumptions.

I personally have never experienced a stressful feeling that wasn't caused by attaching to an untrue thought or fear.

Rather than understand the original cause, we try to change our stressful feelings by looking outside of ourselves. It is easy to get swept away by some overwhelming feeling so it is helpful to remember that any stressful feeling is like a compassionate messenger that says - "you are caught up in your story".

Depression, pain, fear, doubt and worry are gifts that say "take a look at what you are thinking right now. You're living in a story that is not true for you. When we get caught in the illusion, we try to alter the stressful feeling rather than deal with the thought behind it. That's why I say that any negative emotion is an alarm clock that is designed to wake you up to the fact that there's a thought that you may want to investigate and get rid of. Inquiry and investigation of any thought that is untrue will always lead you back to happiness and who you really are.







It is simple logic. Before the thought you were not suffering. With the thought you are suffering. When you recognize the thought isn't true, you will go back to not suffering and return to happiness.

Self inquiry is the way to end all suffering and to experience peace, even in a world of apparent chaos. Above all else, self inquiry is about realizing that all the answers you will ever need are inside of you and are always available to you if you are willing to give up your story.

Letting go of the familiar 

 Many people will live the same day over and over again, sometimes for a lifetime, because they're not willing to let go of familiar habits of thinking, feeling and believing. 

Sometimes its about making a different move, doing something that isn't familiar, and maybe even uncomfortable, not dangerous though. It will take courage in the moment to move in a way you're not familiar with. When you do, you create new neuronal pathways in your brain, in your nervous system. it may be awkward at the first attempt, just like your first dance lesson or aerobic class. 
 The discomfort will pass and there will be growth. And the place that was unfamiliar is now the new normal.
  •  Think about what you're wanting to change. 
  • Think about WHY its important to you. 
  • Think of what the end result would look like to you if everything worked in your favor.
  •  Imagine yourself, in full color, living that life. 
  • What if?
In order to get new results, we make space for it. Nature hates a vacuum. Once we take the step to let go of something that isn't serving us, know that makes space to welcome everything you've been waiting for.

Go with the flow [struggle isn't natural]




We often talk about "going with the flow". 

Why? Because that is what you were created to do!  Think about this...everything that has been created has a natural flow and when it operates in that flow there is no struggle.

Water does not struggle to flow.
Grass does not struggle to grow.
Wind does not struggle to blow.
Rain does not struggle to fall.
Sun does not struggle to shine.
Earth does not struggle to rotate.
Flowers do not struggle to bloom.

What does this tell us?  Struggle is unnatural.  Why sentence ourselves to a life of struggle when it is clearly unnatural?


Awareness is the first step to making any change in our lives.  If you are aware that struggle is not "normal" and that it is a learned UNCONSCIOUS HABITUAL PATTERN, you can CONSCIOUSLY make the choice not to live your life paddling upstream.

Focus your attention on this; NOTHING YOU WANT IS UPSTREAM! Everything you want is DOWNSTREAM.  This means you do not have to struggle (paddle up stream) to have it.   All you need to do is put your boat in the stream and let it carry you.  In fact, you don't need to paddle at all.  Even if your boat is pointed in the wrong direction (upstream), as soon as you stop paddling the stream will turn your boat around without any effort on your part.  Then you will be going in the direction where everything you desire takes place.

It is a simple but powerful metaphor.  Give up the struggle once and for all. Let go of the paddles, trust that Source Energy will guide you downstream to your desire and start enjoying the trip. It's a heck of a lot easier!

Today will bring you a new awareness, a lesson or a manifestation that you are making progress - IF YOU LOOK FOR IT!  No matter how large or small, please record it in your Evidence Journal. It will only take a few moments and will AUTOMATICALLY put you in the Flow.

Pay Attention



Today I invite you to spend 10 minutes
 "paying attention".

Just stop what you are doing, stop moving and thinking and talking and attempting to figure things out and just "pay attention"

If you are comfortable with it you can begin with the simple statement, "God here I Am", and then wait for the response.

Don't judge how well you do, just set aside the 10 minutes and allow it to be what it will be.

It is possible, for many of you, what you will notice in those 10 minutes is just how "busy" you remain even when you are supposedly not doing anything, and that's OK.

Because you noticed it :-)

And then tomorrow I invite you to once again show up, just for 10 minutes, and pay attention again.

It is amazing what you can learn just being present and in the now for 10 minutes  - be sure to give it a try, you might like it :-)
