Focus on the Good

There are many ways to raise your vibration including thinking positive and uplifting thoughts.

Everything in the universe is made of energy. What separates one form of energy from another is the speed at which it vibrates. For example, light has a very high frequency, and a rock vibrates at a lower frequency. Human beings also vibrate at different frequencies. Our thoughts and feelings can determine the frequency at which we vibrate, and our vibration goes out into the world and attracts to us energy moving at a similar frequency (Law of Attraction). Which is why we can cause a positive shift in our lives by raising our vibration.

We all know someone we think of as vibrant. The people who strike us as vibrant are vibrating at a high frequency, and they can inspire us as we work to raise our vibration. and are a joy to be around.

On the flip side, we all know people that are very negative or cynical. These people are vibrating at a lower frequency, and are not so pleasant to be around.

There are many ways to raise your vibration, one of the most practical ways to raise your vibration is to consciously choose where you focus your attention. To understand how powerful this is, take five minutes to describe something you love unreservedly—a person, a movie, an experience. When your five minutes are up, you will noticeably feel more positive and joyous.

If you want to keep raising your vibration, try spending five minutes every day focusing on the good in your life. As you do this, you will train yourself to be more awake and alive. Over time, you will experience a permanent shift in your frequency and happiness.

The greatest discovery of all time is that a person can change his future by merely changing his attitude.

3 steps for building positive habits

Learn habits that stick and are sustainable.

Setting goals doesn't always work you must learn to establish habits that will lead you toward success.

1. Start small - a tiny habit is easier to stick to.

Do you resolve to exercise more often? Start with just 10 pushups a day or a short jog around the neighborhood — something so quick that there’s no excuse not to do it. Once a habit begins to feel natural, increase the amount of time or effort you spend.

2. Fit new habits together with existing habits

Choose a habit that’s already second nature, then schedule your new habit immediately after. Think about your own days: what existing habits can be extended or transformed?

If you’ve resolved to read more, place a book next to your cup of morning coffee. If you intend to brush up on a new language, stick vocabulary cards into your gym bag and take advantage of that post-workout jolt of energy. Existing habits can be a seamless gateway to new activities.

3. Practice makes perfect

You’ll probably need a few nudges before your habit truly becomes second nature. Create checkpoints to help you stay on track: enlist a friend to keep you honest, set alarms throughout the day, or mark your successes on a calendar.

The more regularly you practice your new activity, the more quickly it’ll become a part of your life.

Positive Thinking as the Key to Success

Anyone who has ever actively pursued a goal knows that it isn’t always easy.. An optimistic attitude will go a long way towards ensuring that the goals you set out to meet are actually met.

Have you ever known someone that has dreams, desires and aspirations but every time they mention them, they immediately put it down in the same breath?

After a while you stop believing that person will ever pursue those dreams and when they’re mentioned, you may not even pay much attention to what’s being said. Eventually you might even dismiss that person as someone who talks but never executes anything. Imagine if you were that person? Imagine how it would feel if you were filled with dreams, desires
and aspirations but you never actually followed through on anything? You would eventually stop dreaming.

That is not the way to go. You should never stop dreaming. You should
never stop pursuing your goals. While it’s imperative that you act on your
dreams and aspirations, it’s even more imperative that you adopt a positive
attitude about your actions.

Positive thinking is the best way for you to
internally support yourself as you pursue your dreams. You may think that
positive thinking is easy and just requires that you don’t focus on the
negative aspects of things. Unfortunately it’s not always that easy.

When you’re in a moment of frustration where it feels like everything is falling
apart around you, not focusing on the negative can be a challenge. It can
even be a challenge to focus on the positive when things are going well.
Positive thinking must be done consistently so that it becomes a habit.

"Positive Thinking as the key to Success" There are some tools and case studies you can use to incorporate positive thinking into your everyday life and work to make it a habit.

"The only thing that stands between a person and what they
want from life is often merely the will to TRY it and the
faith to BELIEVE that it is possible."

3 Secrets To Manifesting ANYTHING You Desire!

Here are 3 Secrets to manifestation that can transform your life today...

Secret 1: Thinking Faster Increases Manifestation
The universe operates quickly and efficiently. By making your own thoughts quick and efficient, you tap into the primordial creative power of the universe. The quicker you can think, the quicker you can manifest. This is the law.
Here's a key lesson to remember:
Slow thinkers = slow manifesters
 Fast thinkers = fast manifesters
Secret 2: You Must Stop Your Thinking To Manifest
Controlled absence of thinking is what creates manifestation. This means you need to create a state of Silence inside of your mind and maintain this as much as you can.
What you must understand is that your own thoughts are the barrier to manifestation. When the thoughts are controlled, the barriers are released and all of the creative energies of manifestation can increase without limit.
To control your thoughts is about understanding the whole operation of your mind and knowing what to do to increase your thought power.
Secret 3: You Must Surround Yourself With The People Who Have What You Want
A great secret is that the people you surround yourself with has the biggest influence over your life. If you want to change what happens in your life, you need to change the people you associate with.
Positive, happy and successful people are the biggest tools you have for manifestation. No exception! Get around these people as much as you can and watch your manifestations sky rocket.
Look at your life right now and ask yourself this serious question: Who is the most successful person in your life right now? How often do you associate with them? Could you do with associating with better people to change your manifestation level?
I hope this text has blessed you in better understanding some of the key secrets to manifestation.

Attracting Your DREAM Payday

What if you didn't have to live payday to payday?  What if you had all the
money you wanted instead of overwhelming debt?

Maybe right now, that sounds too good to be true.

However, once you master the Law of Attraction, it can truly change
your financial outlook forever.

One part of the Laws of Attraction is that you get things according to the
energy you put out into the world.  The universe will respond to it and
send it back.

For example, one person might go to the mailbox and say, "I hope I don't
get too many bills today."  Another person might say, "I wonder who's
sending me money today."

Who do you think will have a better mail day, on the average?

Now obviously, "checks in the mail" doesn't appear in itself, I truly believe
action needs to be taken in combination with the expectation to reap
the reward.

Though the Laws of Attraction, suggest that the person who sends out
the negative energy of worry and fear will get more to worry about and
fear in return.

The person who is positive will get things to be joyful about.

In this example, he/she has a certain likelihood to actually get money
in the mail.

Money itself may be one of the more difficult things to manifest through the
Laws of Attraction.

Why? ...

It's just because it's hard to be passionate about money itself.

It is easier to get excited about the things money buys.

The Laws of Attraction work hundreds of times better if you are actually
PASSIONATE about something money can get you.

This translates into a high level of positive energy, or vibration, that you
are emitting into the universe.

It works to make things happen quickly.  If you can get that excited about money
itself, then the Laws of Attraction can bring you the money you desire.

More likely, the things you will be the most enthusiastic about will not be
little green slips of paper.  They will be vacations, houses, cars, maybe
even airplanes.

These things will excite you if you allow yourself to dream about them. Then
the Laws of Attraction can help you to get them.

If you want to use the Laws of Attraction, one way to intensify your
desires is to find some visual way to make them real.  Take pictures of the
things you want.

Post them around your house where you will see them often. This in turn
will bring you more of the energy you send out, make sure the images
in your home are conducive to a positive outlook.

Only when you are clear about exactly what you want can the Laws of
Attraction work for you.  Sometimes, you can't actually take a picture.
Sometimes it is easier to go through magazines and find pictures and
descriptions of what it is you want....

Cut them out and hang them up. As the universe will respond to your desires.

Then, too, you can seek out your dreams by going on homes tours and test
driving cars.  Whatever you can do to put yourself in contact with the
reality of your dreams helps.

People say that money doesn't buy happiness.
It's true that money alone can't make you happy.

However, if you use the powers of manifestation to improve your financial situation, that obviously can only be a good thing, so you can more easily give and help others.

This I believe is the only thing that will bring true happiness to your life.

Someone Somewhere

We all get caught up with things that are going on in our
immediate environment, sometimes it's hard to imagine what's
going on somewhere else in the world.

  • While you are eating; somewhere, someone is hungry.
  • As you are laughing; somewhere, someone is shedding a tear.
  • While you are holding your newborn; somewhere, someone is dying.
  • As you are reciting your vows; somewhere, someone's heart is
  • being broken.
  • When you were out dancing; somewhere, someone is learning how to walk all over again.
  • While you are singing; somewhere, someone is praying for their voice to be heard.

Life has its ups and downs. You are not guaranteed a great
time every moment of every day. You learn to grab and hold
on to those moments that make you smile and your heart feel
good. You have to experience the bad things so that you can
appreciate the good things, you have to have something to
compare the good times to. Just as you know what it's like
to be surrounded by loving people, you also know what it
feels like to be alone, but you don't want to be lonely.

To me we are not all different, we are all the same.
We just haven'trealized it yet, that will take generations to come. There is no good or bad, just what our perception of it is, and
that perception varies from one generation to the next.

For those who have a hardened heart, while you wallow in
anger and spend your precious time and energy seeking ways
to seek revenge; someone somewhere is wrapping their loving
arms around a baby struggling to breathe. You can either
carry on old ways, or look at this baby, (a new life, a new
breath), and see it as hope for a new generation that knows
no anger, that knows only love; and you can teach it how to
give and receive. The gift you give yourself is prosperity
which is produced from love.

Just as you experience both good and bad events in your
life, you also have choices to do good and bad things. Your
heart is either pure; to help mankind make a better world
for the next generation, or your heart has been hardened by
past events and you cannot see outside of your own hatred
and despair. Only you know the difference, and only you can
change things.

Give love and hope, not hate and despair.

Which would you want your child to know?

Fwd: 7 ways to stop stress from crippling your mind and your body

I received this sales email from Carolyn and because of the great content thought it worthy of sharing in it's entirety - enjoy.

Hi Ian,

This is Carolyn Hansen.

Is your life stressful?

I know that mine is at times. Very stressful. But I have come
to realize that stress is something you can never completely
escape. Not if you want to improve your lot in life.

It is like the inseparable ying and yang of ancient eastern
ways of thinking. Progress and stress go hand in hand in this
world of ours. Very, very few of us manage to skate by on
a stress-free life.

But you definitely CAN minimize the influence that stressful
events have on your mind and body by learning how to deliberately
create your own path to success, no matter what your particular
goals might be. My friend, Dr. Robert Anthony, of whom I have
spoken in the past, is one of the foremost experts in this area:

Learn The Secret of Deliberate Creation

He understands, probably better than anyone, that stress can
cripple the mind and forestall your goals - sometimes for an
entire lifetime! Well, I'm going to remind you today that stress
is also a major player in the deterioration of one's long-term
health.

As a fitness professional I can tell you that unchecked stress
is responsible for a host of debilitating conditions. Not only
can it lead to nervous exhaustion and raise the likelihood of
a cardiovascular incident that can rob you of years of life,
stress also does a terrific job of lowering your metabolism
and causing you to start accruing nuisance pounds around your
midsection. That's right - prolonged stress can make you fat!

So what can you do about this?

I am not going to pretend that everyone faces the same kind of
stresses daily that I do, or the clients I advise daily who are
constantly looking for ways to minimize the stresses that plague
them. But I can offer you SEVEN stress-management strategies
which can be used to reduce the stresses in your life:

[1] Lower Your Exposure To Media

You are unlikely to be surprised when I tell you that the majority
of information coming from television and newspapers is negative
and causes fear and worry. Sure, we all want to stay connected to
the outside world and know what is going on. But the majority of
that information is delivered after being filtered according to
what sells. Bad news draws us back to the media source more than
good news does. An unfortunate side effect is stress, but it does
keep the media companies in business. Realize this and try to keep
the world picture they paint in perspective.

[2] Sever Your Toxic Relationships

Your relationships with other people, especially those you see on
a daily basis, have probably the most profound influence on the
quality of your life. Toxic relationships, which are all too
common, can be a source of extreme stress. If you have people in
your life who are obnoxious, controlling, disrespectful or
unnecessarily intimidating, you need to find a way to minimize
your exposure to them. This can be hard to do, but the payoff
in stress reduction can be HUGE.

[3] Revise Your Nutrition And Your Exercise Schedule

I'll cover this in more detail some other time, since I can write
volumes on this subject! The most important thing I can remind you
about is that food with poor nutritional content (which is just
about every piece of food you have access to during your working
hours) is going to poison your system and stress your metabolic
and nervous systems. On the same note, unless you are exercising
with the intent of reversing the effects of aging, your lack of
physical activity will only compound the other effects of stress
in your life.

[4] Get A Decent Amount Of Sleep

Try to get a full 8 hours of sleep each night. I read about a
recent study which showed that people who lack sleep end up
gaining more weight than those who get proper rest. Lack of
sleep elevates your stress, and stressed out people eat more
junk food to try to relax themselves. At least, that's my take
on this.

[5] Meditate

Meditation is a wonderful way to cleanse your mind. It can help
eliminate obsessive thoughts which worry you unnecessarily.
Meditation also gives you an opportunity to focus your attention
on developing practical plans of action for getting what you
want, and for creative problem solving. This is a habit that has
been practiced for thousands of years, and for good reason,
it works!

[6] Bring A Pet Into Your Home

While I think this is especially good advice if you are single,
studies also show that couples who have pets have a better
chance of maintaining a healthy relationship. I have two dogs that
help keep me grounded and more physically active than I otherwise
would be (since I have to take them on long walks). Pets add a
great deal of joy to your life because their love is unconditional
and they are always there when you need them. Also, they give you
a greater sense of purpose in your life because you have something
counting on you for survival.

[7] Increase Your Financial Independence

I left this one til last because I wanted to underscore its
importance. Lack of money is right up there as a source of
severe stress in the lives of most people. Many personal
relationships come apart at the seams when money does not
materialize at the rate that people had hoped for, and it can
be easy to blame the other person for where you are now in
your life. This is why getting on top of wealth creation can
be one of the most important things you can do to reduce the
stresses in your life.

For this, I can offer no one better to show you how to go
about achieving this goal than Dr. Robert Anthony, and his
widely acclaimed book "The Secret of Deliberate Creation":

Click here to discover The Secret of Deliberate Creation

There is a good reason why the number of books he has sold
reaches into the millions, and you will discover why when you
begin to read the story behind his own journey to success.

By the way, you'll find that Robert is bundling a large
number of titles from his library as bonuses for "The Secret
of Deliberate Creation". So this is a particularly good
title of his to grab if you want to get the full story.

To a better, more stress free life,

Carolyn Hansen

How to Find Joys in the Workplace and Loving Life

Do you still remember your first job and the thrills of finding and landing that stint? Do you sometimes look back as to how you act unto loving life and the job that you were able to write proudly on your resume when you were still young?

Young people must have lots of dreams and goals that they must work hard for in order to attain and accomplish. This must drive them towards success. Everybody started young. And it is always nice to look back to realize how things and your attitude were far different at that point of your life.

Red Warning

As you last in the industry you are in, there are points in your life and career when you just want to pause and stop. You may even think of giving everything up for the main reason that you no longer want to move on doing the same things every day. This situation places a red signal warning on you. This is especially true if you are already getting bored with the same things that you do at work from the moment you enter the office in the morning until it is time for you to come home.

If you are facing this dilemma right now, you are not alone. There are many people who are unsatisfied with their work life that they are always thinking of how they can get out of the situation. Before you head on and compose your resignation letter, you may want to look at the following tips of how can you find joys in what seems to be a boring workplace that you are stuck into.

1. Change your routine. You may want to start your day fresh and new. If you are used to opening your computer first thing in the morning, you may want to try to read the papers waiting for you first before you open your PC. You can interchange the things that have become a routine for you. This way, your body will not feel the boredom of knowing what will happen next after you are done with your first task.

2. Redecorate your workstation. If you spend lots of your time at work at the cubicle with your PC and other things in front of you, you should make it your kingdom. What makes you happy? If you love your dogs, you can place funny pictures of your pets all around you. You can place flowers on your desk if this will make you feel light. You should also have some stress relievers handy, like balls, a piece of a puzzle game and anything that can help you last your day at work.

 3. Talk to people. You can do this during breaks. This way, you endear yourself to the other employees in the office. You will get to know them better and can even make some good friends in the process. Having people whom you enjoy being with will make it more exciting and fun to come to work every day.

4. Problems with your work.
You must talk to your superior regarding such. Do not handle your problems by yourself especially when you badly need the help of other people. By finding solutions to your problems and solving them fast, you can skip out on causing more stress to yourself and likewise prove that you are indeed loving life and loving the job that you are in.

The energy of the human mind

We know how important it is to practice positive thinking if you want to change your life. Positive thinking consists of generating thoughts that affirm your abilities, and add value to your life. They don’t denigrate you, or cause you to doubt yourself. But as you may have noticed, thoughts are a kind of energy that’s hard to control. The best you can do is not consciously cultivate negative or destructive thoughts, so they don’t impede your progress towards achieving a happy and successful life.

Ultimately, positive thinking is the solution to all your problems. You need to emit positive, constructive thoughts that affirm your self-confidence, and the confidence you have in your abilities and your future, without having any contradictory ideas.

In reality, things may be more difficult, especially if you find your life unsatisfying. As Einstein indicated, the mentality you have now won’t bring you happiness in future.

Changing direction

Try to imagine your life as a river down which you’re navigating. The water is flowing fast, the winds occasionally pick up, sometimes you’re in control, but at other times you’re not.

When you’re in control of a situation, you can guide your vessel using your mind as the rudder. And it’s when you feel that you’re in control of your life that you emit the most positive thoughts.

When you’re not in control of what happens, you’re like a rudderless boat being carried here and there by the currents and the wind. That’s when you generate your darkest thoughts, those that prevent you from moving forward. If you’re not careful they can gradually take over and push you back, so you lose the benefits of any previous effort you made.

If you want to change the direction of your present existence, keep a solid hold on your rudder, and live your life the way you want. Always keep this image of yourself as a boat navigating through the currents of life top-of-mind.

It will help you differentiate between the states of well-being and discomfort you experience. During periods of well-being, you emit more positive thoughts, your self-confidence gets stronger, and you acquire more motivation and willpower. During the hard times you generate more negative thoughts, and doubt your ability to succeed. But you can regain control of your vessel by forcing yourself to think positive thoughts that will eventually weaken and reverse the negative currents that get hold of you.

Patience and Time

To reverse the negative currents of your thoughts into positive ones, avoid stressful situations whenever possible, don’t let yourself become upset, and, above all, don’t stop trying. Giving up is the best way to undermine your progress, and cut the branch you’re sitting on, leaving you flat on the ground.

Learn to be calm, and stay calm. Don’t react violently, in thought, word or deed, to exterior aggression. It may not be easy at first, but take all the time you need. If you’re patient, you will succeed.

In addition to staying calm, try to practice the great virtue of patience, since both are closely linked. If you’re calm, you won’t lose your patience. The calmer you are, the more patient you’ll be. One depends on the other. If you can express them both, you’ll open wide the doors to success.

Take your time. Don’t try to change your way of thinking, which has been with you for years, from one minute to the next, or from one day to the next. It takes time to alter things you’ve been conditioned to do since childhood.

Give Up Your Anger

Starting now, cultivate patience every day, and you’ll see how the virtue will benefit all aspects of your life. It’s no good making decisions when you’re emotional, pressed for time, or being pressured by other people. Experience shows that most decisions made under those conditions turn out to be harmful.

Even if you’re only able to generate a single positive thought a day, it will be a great step forward. Tell yourself that, starting today, you’ll formulate at least one positive thought every day, either spontaneously, or as a way of neutralizing something negative that comes to your mind.

Emitting a spontaneous positive thought consists of voluntarily deciding to say something, either to yourself or out loud, that affirms your self-confidence, and your ability to live up to your hopes for success and a better future.

Now take a few minutes to formulate, in your own words, a short sentence of one or two lines that affirms your self-confidence. It doesn’t matter if you don’t feel very confident at the moment, since that should soon change.

The magic of positive thinking is precisely that: it imposes an idea on your mind with so much conviction that it becomes your own, in this case making you think, speak and act with confidence.

Never get angry, be patient, and be constant in your emission of positive thoughts. You’ll quickly go from one positive thought a day to two, three, four and more, until your state-of-mind becomes transformed for the better.

You’ll come out a winner in the battle against the darker side of yourself, the one that’s preventing you from moving forward. I guarantee it!
