How Productivity Aids Success In Life

When you understand the concept of productivity, you will be able to overcome and triumph over life's adversities.

When practiced religiously, productivity can help people learn lifelong lessons and use these to live a good and contented life, the video below that highlights the "80/20 rule", when you think about it, applies directly to your productive use of your time and energy.

How to be productive

Experts say that it is only common for people to feel depression, anxiety and defeat if life has been giving them so many tests and trials. However, instead of feeling depresses and sulking into the taste of defeat, people can use this as an opportunity to make themselves stronger. This is by using these emotions and experiences to increase their productivity.

To be productive, it is best to remember you never stop learning. Experts say that once people realize that life is never-ending journey to learning, they will be able to find ways to their successes, opening up to new worlds of possibilities that are waiting to be explored.

Having a positive outlook in life, seeing things in a positive light might seem easy for some people but many people are having a hard time in appreciating the brighter side of life. By developing a positive outlook in life, your productivity will be also increased. This can be done by trying to see the good in bad at all times or whenever possible. If people are able to overcome these kinds of obstacles, he or she would soon develop the habit of looking for ways that would help him or her overcome any problem and succeed in life.

5 Key Habits of Successful People You Need To Emulate

Though everyone's definition of success is different, it is
fairly easy to place that label on the person with the broad
grin on their face who seems to have it all figured out.
Regardless of what you hope to become successful with, there
are ways to move towards your goals and, eventually, conquer
them.

1. Have an End in Mind

Before you can accomplish a goal, you need to figure out
what that goal is. By clearly defining a goal to yourself,
you put yourself into a "no compromises" position. Internal
pressure and excitement of the end result motivate you to
move forward with your project, rather than stopping half
way through.

That being said, it is a good idea to ensure that the goal
is attainable. If you are aiming high, try breaking it down
into smaller, bite-sized chunks. This helps you feel you are
moving forward with the project, rather than feeling as
though it will never get finished.

2. Have a Schedule

Many people feel that there's not enough hours in a day to
allow them to finish all the tasks. The best way around is
to become particular about how you spend your time. If you
have work that needs to be done, set aside a certain amount
of time for you to work on it. This helps you to avoid the
pitfalls of excuses like "I will finish it after this",
which evolves into "I do not have time today. Maybe I will
do it tomorrow".

3. Be Persistent

Small failures are inevitable in any endeavor. By taking
failures positively, rather than negatively, you have a
higher chance of attaining success.

When you do fail, do not ignore it and push that aspect of
whatever you are working on to the back burner. Attacking it
head-on is the only way to overcome adversity, and this is
best accomplished by simply trying again.

4. Be Positive

Negativity has rarely impacted a project positively. By
finding the silver lining to any problems that may arise and
approaching them with positivity, you will find it far
easier to combat them. As well, looking at your endeavor in
a positive light in general will help you accomplish what
you like. Knowing the good that could result from what you
are working on can help you feel more motivated.

5. Communicate and Have a Team

Everyone needs help or a positive boost at some point, and
having a team of cheerleaders, well-wishers, or helpers can
provide this. Communicating effectively to each team member
ensures different aspects will be taken care of as you
planned, reducing mistakes and failure rates. A small group
of people you can lean on and bounce ideas off of can lend
creativity and stability to your work.

Having all these 5 key habits, keeping it and putting it
into practice to be successful in life. Then you will be
sure to be able to combat all the challenges that life
throws at you.

Simple Tips for Improving Your Productivity

You can be working hard but at the end of the day, productivity is usually counted on how many completed tasks are of good quality. Many of us work hard or rush around but do not seem to get anything done.

Know this feeling?

Here are a few ways you can improve your productivity:

In this video, Nicole discusses the importance of productivity and how to run your business from home, like a business, to get to 7 & 8 Figure Status.

Invest in self-improvement.

There is always a room for improvement. In your case, the best boost should be based on further education so keep on striving to gain more. If you are working in an industry for quite some time, there surely would be changes in standards and norms that you should be aware of to adopt the best practice. Improve yourself further and productivity (and happiness) will follow.

Be organised.

Sort your things, de-clutter your drawers and arrange your files. Doing such physical activity is simple and increases your positive mind. Mess and junk detract from your ability to focus and makes you feel better.

Strive to give the best in every action.

In every action and responsibility you do, make sure you do them accurately, effectively and diligently. Your work would be the proof of your competence and reliability, clients or employers will recognise you for that and opportunities will present themselves more often.

Be results-oriented.

Nothing will come close to having clear aims and goals. Many people have trouble focusing on what they really want.

I quote from a question asked in a webcast recently by Dr. Alex Loyd , please take a moment to consider this.

“If you where with a genie, and you had only one wish, what would it be? You have 10 seconds to decide or you lose the wish, right now what do you want most in your life? Lots of money? A new car? A nice home? 10 seconds...Done”

What did you wish for? Dr. Alex said in all the years he has asked this very question almost everyone answered this the wrong way.  My first thought was a pocket where I could pull out the exact money for anything I wanted. But the real, true answer is HAPPINESS.  Why do we want money and set goals? To be happy.

Here’s the tip.   If you focus on your goals in the external world, and align them with and internal goal whether it is happiness, love, joy etc,  you will find it easier to reach your goals and become more productive, successful and happy.

Have a great Day.
