Step 1: Breathe (1 minute)
Close your eyes and inhale deeply for a count of four. Hold for four. Exhale slowly for a count of six. Do this five times.

As you exhale, imagine the tension leaving your body - like steam rising off your skin. Silently say: “I release what I cannot control.”
