Using Your Time - Tips

Most people like to stay in their comfort zone, i.e. they stick to what they know. That prevents them from changing. To get out of your comfort zone, you need to be disciplined. Unfortunately, most people aren’t.

To succeed, you need these three main steps:

1-    Establish reasonable goals for yourself, and set practical deadlines.

2-    Find out what you know how to do best, something that makes a difference in some way, and is pleasant for you.

3-    Determine what your bad habits and erroneous attitudes are, and gradually replace them with new ways of thinking.

You need to know how to manage your time well, because time wasted is gone forever, and can never be reclaimed. If you want to achieve your goals as quickly as possible, you absolutely must put your time to good use.

The only thing that limits what you can accomplish in life is time, and wasting time means wasting your life.

Here are six things to remember about time:

First: Nobody can manage time. But you can manage those things that take up your time.

Second:
Time is expensive. As a matter of fact, 80 percent of our day is spent on those things or those people that only bring us two percent of our results.

Third:
Time is perishable. It cannot be saved for later use.

Fourth: Time is measurable. Everybody has the same amount of time...pauper or king. It is not how much time you have; it is how much you use.

Fifth: Time is irreplaceable. We never make back time once it is gone.

Sixth: Time is a priority. You have enough time for anything in the world, so long as it ranks high enough among your priorities.

"Be not afraid of growing slowly, be afraid only of standing still."
Chinese proverb
